The Avoyelles Parish School Board is the elected governing authority for the Avoyelles Parish School System. The Board establishes policy, sets the direction for the district, approves the budget, and works to ensure that all students have the opportunity to receive a high-quality education.

The Avoyelles Parish School Board meets at 5:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month, with the exception of national holidays.
