Report a Safety Concern

Students and families are encouraged to report safety concerns to a trusted school employee, school administrator, or the district office. Contact the school or district office.

Or report it anonymously using the Safe Schools LA website or app.

School Threats & Student Conduct

Threats involving schools or school activities are taken seriously. Students should never make threatening statements as jokes, pranks, text messages, social media posts, or verbal comments.

Transportation Safety

Bullying, Harassment & Student Safety

Students should report bullying, harassment, threats, or concerning behavior to a trusted adult or school administrator.

In an Emergency, Call 911

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 right away.

Examples of emergencies include:

• Life-threatening situations
• Serious injury or medical emergency
• Threats of violence
• A crime in progress

• Follow school staff and emergency personnel instructions during drills or emergencies.
• Keep your contact information current with your child's school.
• Talk with your child about safety at school, at home, online, and while traveling to and from school.
• Encourage students to tell a trusted adult when something feels unsafe or concerning.
