FOOD & NUTRITION SERVICES

Children need a healthy well-balanced diet to promote health, academic achievement, and growth. The Child Nutrition Department serves nutritious, appetizing meals to all students at no cost to the students’ family. ALL students attending Avoyelles Parish Public Schools will receive FREE breakfast, lunch, and supper without having to complete a lunch application. 

Adult Meals: APSB staff may purchase meals at $2.00 for breakfast and $4.00 for lunch. Payment may be made to accounts by check or cash.  Charging adult meals is prohibited.

Visitor Meals- Visitors may purchase meals for $2.00 for breakfast and $4.00 for lunch at the time of meal service.  Payment may be cash or money order.

2026 SUMMER FOOD BOXES

Avoyelles Parish Schools will provide weekly food box distributions this summer to support our families.

Distribution Schedule:
Every Monday
June 1 – July 20
8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Pick-Up Locations:
Marksville Elementary
Avoyelles High School
Bunkie High School
Riverside Elementary
Lafargue Elementary
